Senior’s Point: December 2014

Open 9 a.m.–3 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays

9 a.m.: Pool, coffee and snacks.

Noon: Hot lunch

1 p.m.: Wednesdays, Bridge

Fridays, cards and games.



Wednesday, December 3: Macaroni and cheese, Italian sausage link, broccoli florets, garden salad and fruit.

Friday, December 5: Roasted pork loin with wild rice pilaf, garden salad, green beans and fruit.

Wednesday, December 10: Stuffed cabbage rolls, roasted potatoes, garden salad, chef’s vegetables and sliced peaches.

Friday, December 12: Chicken á la king, rice, steamed vegetables, garden salad and fruit.

Wednesday, December 17: Turkey and cranberry, mashed potatoes and gravy, seasonal veggies, holiday spiced cake and a dinner roll.

Friday, December 19: BBQ pork ribs, roast potatoes, veggies, garden salad and fruit.

Wednesday, December 24: Closed

Friday, December 26: Sundried tomato pasta with chicken, steamed broccoli, Caesar salad and fruit.

Wednesday, December 31: Meat lasagna, Italian vegetables, salad and applesauce.



Christmas party will be posted on ePB when we get a date. This year we will celebrate with appetizers and punch to start.

Entertainment will also be provided plus hopefully a visit from Ol’ St. Nick himself.

The festivities start anytime after 10:30 a.m. and will end at lunchtime. Seniors, please bring a favorite appetizer or dessert for this festive day.


Blood pressure testing: Wednesday, December 10, 11 a.m.–noon.

Senior board meeting: Wednesday, December 17, 10:30 a.m.

Senior birthdays: Wednesday, December 31, lunch time.
