Point Roberts was one of five stops in remote communities in San Juan, Island and Whatcom County where this Washington National Guard UH-60 Blackhawk simulated delivery of boxes of medical supplies June 9 as part of the four-day Cascadia Rising exercise. In the event of a disaster, such as a 9.0 earthquake and resulting tsunami Cascadia Rising was meant to simulate. The National Guard would be activated to bring supplies to isolated areas.
