Economic development grant applications for Whatcom County projects are now being accepted. Applications will be accepted through February 18, 2002. Projects should be designed to foster economic growth, community development, employment, and habitat restoration. This funding is being made available by the federal government to timber and fisheries distressed areas in order to promote economic and job growth.
