SHERIFF'S REPORT

June 22: Deputies contacted an individual in the 1200 block of Benson Road at a traffic stop. The driver of the vehicle was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. She was also found to have failed to obtain a Washington driver’s license upon residency. She was arrested for both offenses and cited, then released.
June 18: An individual in the 1400 block of Edwards Drive reported that her expired passport was lost. She filed the report for informational purposes. Deputies were contacted the following day and advised that the passport was found.
June 18: WCSO responded to a civil problem in the 2000 block of Olson Road. A citizen reported that a former tenant had dumped garbage on his property after he placed it on county right of way next to her new residence. The incident was part of an ongoing dispute.
June 8: WCSO responded to the report of theft in the 100 block of Marine Drive. Someone took a golf ball washer and garbage can unit from the above location. No suspect. Estimated loss was $300.
June 2: WCSO responded to the report of vandalism in the 300 block of West Bluff Road. Someone had cut three wooden posts on his property and took down a No Trespassing sign. The individual stated that the incident was part of an ongoing dispute, but there was no specific suspect information. An information report was taken.
May 30: WCSO responded to an activated alarm in the 400 block of Tyee Drive. The alarm was determined to be false. An employee was given a false alarm sheet and instructed to fill it out and mail it to the Sheriff’s office.
May 31: WCSO responded to an activated alarm in the 400 block of Tyee Drive. The alarm was found to be false. ..
