Gellatly quits

Point Roberts Marina manager David Gellatly is calling it quits after only six months on the job. ‘I’ve told the owners I’ll work with them through the transition and give them time to find a suitable replacement,” said Gellatly, who cited his reasons for leaving as “strictly personal.”

While he is looking at several options, Gellatly said he had no firm plans for life after the marina. “I’ve got a few ideas but now I need to continue to focus on the business here,” he said.
