Simone Shern-Pope featured oboist

Local musician Simone Shern-Pope will be the featured oboist with the Whatcom Symphony Orchestra Chamber on Sunday, April 13 at 3 p.m. at the Mt. Baker Theatre in Bellingham.

Simone will perform the Ablinoni oboe concerts in d minor, an Italian boroque favorite and will open up the program followed by other works by the Chamber Orchestra; namely: Shaker Loops by Adams, Trittico Botticelliano by Respighi and closing with Serenade for Strings for Dvorak.
