INSIDE
Where else can you get an Italian dinner, a dance and your Christmas presents?

The Point Roberts Artisans Guild is pleased to be hosting a Holiday Fair & Dinner at the Point Roberts Marina on Saturday, November 22 beginning at 6 p.m. The Christmas themed event will feature a number of Point Roberts artisans and crafters in addition to members of the Guild who participated in this past summer’s Saturday Market. Enjoy a great dinner, music and dancing with local musicians and an opportunity to shop for locally made holiday gifts.

Tickets are $15 and include an Italian buffet dinner, entertainment, browsing with local artists and a raffle ticket for gifts donated by local businesses and artisans in aid of the Aydon Wellness Clinic and the Point Roberts food bank. Tickets are on sale now. Call 945-2080 to book or visit Northwest Permit (the old Blackberries) 1345 Gulf Road at Marine Drive.

Following are just some of the Point Roberts Artisans Guild members who will be displaying and selling their work at the holiday fair & dinner.

Ted and Sharon may be best known around the Point for their very funky birdhouses crafted from driftwood and recycled materials such as old metal.

Melissa Croda’s home business, The Junkyard, sells arts and crafts “to and from the garden.”

Judith Mann is a recent addition to the Point’s artistic community. She works with local flowers such as lavender and hydrangea and other recycled materials.

Peg Christopherson’s home business Antiques & Interiors purveys hand-painted antique furniture and decorative accessories in addition to such country collectibles as old tins, linens, pictures, mirrors and lamps.
