William Campin, 92, returned to his Lord on Thursday, February
13, 2003 at Stafholt Good Samaritan Center in Blaine, Washington.

in Ross, North Dakota. He was awarded a Bachelor of Science at
Monmouth College in Monmouth, Illinois, where he also studied

25 graduates in 1946 to 85 in 1965, helped women’s athletics get
equal time in the gym, and hauled his geometry class out to build
sidewalks that didn’t puddle. After his retirement in 1972, he
saw one of his dreams realized in a new science center for the
school, which was named after him in 1976.
He was an
active member of the Blaine community and a member of the Congregational
Church (United Church of Christ) since 1943.
