SHERIFF'S REPORT

February 21:
A citizen (C1) in the 400 block of Marine Drive reported an altercation with another individual (C2) involving both parties dogs. C1 reported that C2 cuffed her on the arm during the incident. C2 denies cuffing her and said he placed his hand on her as he walked away. C1 indicated she did not wish to pursue assault charges and asked that the incident be documented.

February 21:
WCSO assisted Harris County sheriff’s office in Texas. A deputy reported a French horn was stolen from his jurisdiction and was sold to an address in Point Roberts on e-bay. The horn was stolen from a school in Texas and reported by an employee. The person who bought the horn was contacted and the stolen horn, valued at $2,100, was recovered.

February 20:
A customer became argumentative with an employee in the 1300 block of Gulf Road. The manager asked that he be trespassed from the business. He was contacted by deputies and trespassed. He said he understood and would not go back to the business.

February 14:
WCSO deputies stopped a vehicle in the 700 block of Tyee Drive and discovered the driver of the vehicle was intoxicated. Deputies arrested the driver for DUI and he was released to Canada Customs.

February 6:
Child Protection Services asked WCSO to check on the welfare of children in the 1900 block of Wellington Drive. Deputies checked on the children. A report was taken for information only and a copy will be forwarded to CPS.

February 5:
A juvenile male was arrested for residential burglary in the 1600 block Georgia Court. He was found to have a felony warrant for failure to comply, burglary 2nd and theft 2nd. His mother was informed of the arrest and he was transported to juvenile detention by the U.S. Coast Guard.

February 3:
WCSO deputies responded to an address in the 1600 block of Johnson Road to a report of a juvenile runaway. The juvenile child had run away. The juvenile male was entered into the WASK and NCIC as a runaway.
