Water board agrees to wait on sewer
system.
The Point Roberts water district commissioners now have a
freshly updated sewer comprehensive plan in hand, but it seems
they intend to wait for someone else to make the move before
taking further steps towards a sewer system for all or part
of the Point. |
Point
roads to get overhauled.
Point Roberts drivers will have to make their way around a
few detours and road crews this summer but by fall almost
every mile of road on the Point will have a new coat of asphalt
or chipseal. |

The parks department children’s summer program started out
the month with a new lease on life but is winding it up
back on life support.
Fire

The continuing program of financial austerity at the Point
Roberts fire department may be reaching its goal having
the department live within its means.
Enough
of all this clock changing!
Most folks have memorized the advice to “spring forward
and fall back” to recall whether to set their clocks ahead
or back twice yearly.
