SHERIFF'S REPORT
August
20:
Complainant reported her bike was stolen from Boundary Bay and
Maple Street. The bike was not secured and there was no possible
suspect information. Report for informational purposes only.
August
9:
A female contacted WCSO to report an assault that had occurred
in the 1300 block of Gulf Road. She reported being smacked in
the back of the head by another female. She asked that a report
be taken to document the event. No charges are being pursued.
The suspect female was contacted and denied hitting the reporting
party.
August
5:
WCSO deputies responded to a 911 hang up call on Diane Circle.
Deputies determined that a domestic assault had occurred. An 86-year-old
resident was arrested for assault 4th, domestic violence. Suspect
was transported by U.S. Coast Guard and booked into Whatcom County
Jail.
August
3:
WCSO deputies arrested a 19-year-old suspect in the 1900 block
of Waldron Place for two counts of assault 3rd, felony harassment,
obstructing, resisting arrest and minor in possession. He was
transported via U.S. Coast Guard to Whatcom County Jail.
July
31:
WCSO responded to the 1800 block of Province Road for a burglary
report. Unknown suspects had entered a residence; nothing was
taken and there are no suspects or leads.

20:
WCSO responded to the 1400 block of Gulf Road to a physical domestic.
Upon arrival, deputies contacted an adult male and his wife. He
stated he had assaulted his wife. He was arrested and transported
to Whatcom County Jail by U.S. Coast Guard.

18:
WCSO contacted and arrested five underage persons for MIP in the
1500 block of Julius Way. Deputies cited and released the subjects
to a sober adult.

12:
WCSO deputies observed an abandoned motorcycle in the 1900 block
of Benson Road. Dispatch advised that the motorcycle was stolen
out of Delta on July 2. Deputies impounded the vehicle and notified
the owner.

11:
An employee in the 1500 block of Gulf Road contacted deputies
and reported that sometime between July 9 and 10, someone had
broken a step at the business. She did not know if the step was
broken by a vehicle hitting the steps or not. It is unknown if
the step was broken on purpose. Report taken for insurance purposes.

4:
WCSO deputies contacted a juvenile on Bayview and Maple streets.
The juvenile was found to be a minor in possession of alcohol
by consumption. He was arrested and released to his guardian.

Deputies contacted a juvenile on Bayview and Maple streets. The
juvenile was drinking a beer and had one in his pocket. He also
admitted to consuming five beers. He was arrested for minor in
possession. The defendant also had marijuana and a marijuana pipe
in his possession. He was arrested for the drugs and drug paraphernalia.
He was released to his mother.
June
29:
WCSO deputies were dispatched to a loud party in the 1800 block
of Washington Drive. Deputies made contact and subject was advised
to turn down her music. She stated she would and complied. As
deputies were leaving, subject turned the music back on and started
yelling profanities at deputies. She was cited and released.

28:
Deputies contacted four juveniles on Bayview and Elm streets.
The juveniles were found to be minors in possession of alcohol
by consumption. They were arrested and released to their residence.

Deputies contacted a juvenile male on Bayview and Alder streets.
The juvenile was found to be a minor in possession of alcohol
by consumption. He was arrested and released pending a court appearance.
June
26:
WCSO responded to the 1400 block of Gulf Road for a possible physical
domestic. Upon arrival, WCSO located marijuana and paraphernalia.
Four were cited and released.
