Writer’s
seminar set
Esteemed
writing instructor and award-winning author, Eunice Scarfe from
the University of Alberta, comes to Point Roberts February 6 and
7 to lead a special writing workshop open to the public.
At the invitation
of the local Point Roberts’ International Women’s Writing Guild
group, Scarfe will present “The Blank Page: The Act and Art of
Writing,” a Friday evening and Saturday workshop for new and experienced
women writers.
Margot Griffith
of Point Roberts, herself an accomplished writer, book reviewer
and teacher of the journaling process at the University of British
Columbia, said, “This is a rare opportunity for any writer who
wishes to develop her writing abilities. ”
The seminar
will be held at Trinity Church. Class size is limited and cost
is $85 for those who register before January 5 and includes lunch
on Saturday and coffee break snacks.
