SHERIFF'S REPORT

June 20: WCSO deputies contacted an adult male on Tyee Drive and Gulf Road during a traffic stop. The male was found to be driving while under the influence of alcohol. The male was cited and released.

June 7: WCSO responded to the 600 block of Kendor Drive for a suicidal person. An adult male was taken into protective custody and transported to Bellingham to see a county designated mental health professional.

June 6: WCSO responded to the 100 block of Bayview Drive. Unknown suspects threw a rock at a window. A picture of the broken window was taken for information purposes. Estimated damage is $200. There are no suspects or leads.

June 2: WCSO took a juvenile runaway report from the 100 block of Delano Way.

May 30: Deputies contacted a mentally ill male in the 1800 block of Roosevelt Way. The male crossed into the U.S. illegally at Maple Beach. The male told deputies he knew he crossed illegally because he didn’t want to deal with the border. The male was escorted to the port of entry and border patrol was advised but did not respond. The male was turned over to immigration.

May 29: WCSO responded to the 100 block of Tyee Drive for a theft report. A male reported that he had a dirt bike for sale that was chained to a pole. Suspects stole the motorcycle, the chain and the lock. Estimated value is $750. There are no suspects or leads.
