A
busy and exciting summer at Dylan’s
The Point
Roberts Shell Mart is changing its name again. Since replacing
the old Texaco station with Shell last May, owners Lynne and
Vick Snider continue to upgrade, introduce community events
and make improvements to the store and bakery. It is now called
Dylan’s.
The bakery
has added many new items, introduced an espresso bar, added
pizza to its menu, brought in a number of specialty food items
and broadened the wine selection. The source for the name change
comes from store manager Linda Childs, whose dog Dylan moved
up with her a year ago from Southern California. He has now
passed on but was adored by many around the Point. In his honor,
and to celebrate the name change, there will be a Doggie Show-
off on October 2 at 1 p.m. Bring your dogs for some fun and
pet prizes.
