SHERIFF'S REPORT

March 20: WCSO responded to the 2200 block of Sunrise Drive for an assault DV 4th. An adult female was arrested and was booked into WCSO jail.

March 19: WCSO responded to the 2000 block of Whalen Drive for a death investigation. A male suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. The male was transported to the medical examiner’s office for further investigation. The death appeared to be a suicide.

March 12: WCSO deputies assisted I.C.E. agents in arresting suspect in Point Roberts. Suspect had an arrest warrant for fraud and money laundering out of the state of Florida. Suspect was transported and booked into Whatcom County jail via U.S. customs boat transportation.

March 8: WCSO responded to a report of a juvenile male driving without a license. The juvenile was contacted and admitted to driving without a license and no I.D. The juvenile also stated that the vehicle did not have insurance. Report forwarded to the juvenile prosecutor to be reviewed for charges.

March 6: WCSO responded to a vehicle prowl report in the 2000 block of A.P.A. Road. A female went for a walk and left her windows and her car unlocked. Her purse was left on the passenger side seat. When she returned, several items were missing from her purse. There are no suspects or leads at this time.

March 3: WCSO deputies contacted suspect in the 1300 block of Gulf Road and discovered he had a felony warrant with no bail out of Whatcom County for FTA possession of a controlled substance. Suspect was arrested and booked into Whatcom County jail via the U.S. Coast Guard.

March 2: WCSO deputies contacted a group of juvenile males skateboarding on the roof of the Point Roberts primary school. Deputies contacted all of the parents of the juveniles and informed them of the situation. Deputies contacted the school principal and informed her of the situation.

March 1: Two males had a dispute on Regina Way and asked that each other be trespassed from each other’s residence. Both were given trespass warnings.

February 26: WCSO deputies took a report of a boat theft from the 50 block of Regina Way. Estimated value of stolen property is $1,000. Reporting party did not have any suspect information.

February 24: WCSO deputies arrested an adult male for possession of marijuana at the Point Roberts U.S. Customs. Suspect was cited and released.

February 11: WCSO deputies observed a green 1993 Ford van parked unattended in the 2100 block of Johnson Road. The registered owner could not be located. Deputies photographed the vehicle three to four feet over the fog line and had Roadway Towing remove the traffic hazard. The registered owner was cited for unattended vehicle in the roadway.

February 4: WCSO deputies discovered a MIP party in the 1700 block of Benson Road. Deputies contacted and arrested a juvenile male for MIP. Suspect was released to his parents. A juvenile female was found to be a minor in possession by consumption. The juvenile was arrested and released to her mother.

January 25: A male in the 100 block of Kennedy Road reported telephone harassment. The male had received numerous hang-up calls at his residence. He reported 10 – 30 calls per day. The male was given a case number and instructed to contact the telephone company to set up a phone trap. There were no suspects.
