Students earn awards...

Blaine fourth grade students Mallory Pope and Emilie Sarkissian, from Point Roberts, were part of a team that took home fifth place awards for group performance in solving math problems at the 24th Annual Whatcom County Math Championship Saturday, March 4.
In addition, Blaine eighth graders Haley White and Hanna Shucard participated in the regional History Day competition March 11 at Western Washington University. White earned second place in the junior division in the exhibit category. Winners will move on to the state level in Auburn on May 6.
