2005 in review:
Point Roberts Arts Foundation

2005 was a great year for the Point Roberts Arts Foundation, The Art Auction brought us funding for our budget, a special thanks to Pamela Oakley for organizing this event. This event helped fund the summer arts and crafts children’s program, and Heather Good was the coordinator.

The Arts and Music Festival was a big success as many artists, craftsperson and food vendors attended from all over Washington state, Oregon, California and Canada.

The Arts Foundation for 2006 will bring more children’s art programs. The Art Auction will be held this May (we are looking for any arts and crafts items that people want to donate, please call us).

The 2006 Point Roberts Arts Classic Golf Tournament will be on June 24, at the Point Roberts Country Club. This tournament is a fund-raising event for our art programs.

The 11th Annual Point Roberts Arts and Music Festival will take place this August 5 and 6. Many artists and craftspersons will be returning and we are expecting about 11,000 people in Point Roberts.
