SHERIFF'S REPORT

June 26: WCSO deputy responded to the 1800 block of Edwards Drive for a reported unattended death. A 79-year-old female was found deceased in her residence by a relative. The cause of death appeared to be natural and there were no indications of foul play. The Whatcom County medical examiner declined jurisdiction and the deceased was released to a funeral home.

June 12: A WCSO deputy took a report of two stolen lawn chairs from the 100 block of Bayview Drive. There are no suspects at this time. Estimated loss: $200.

June 12: A WCSO deputy responded to the 1700 block of Province Road for a report of stolen motorcycle license plates. There are no suspects. The plate was entered as stolen into WACID/NCIC.
June 10: WCSO deputies responded to Diane Circle for a neighborhood dispute. Two property owners wanted each other trespassed from one another’s property. Deputies instructed both of the trespass warning and advised they would be arrested if they trespassed on each other’s property again.

June 1: USCB officers advised WCSO deputies of a convicted sex offender who made entry into Point Roberts via B.C. Customs. Officers stated the adult male would be staying at a residence in the 700 block of Boundary Bay Road with his family for an unknown length of time. Customs advised the male’s probation office in Illinois and the probation officer indicated they would issue a warrant for his arrest after 11 days if he failed to return. Deputies contacted the residence and advised the family of the situation. The family was aware of the suspect’s past, and indicated he was only visiting for a few days.

May 31: WCSO deputies responded to a burglary on Quebec Way and contacted a suspect inside the residence. An adult female was arrested and cited for trespass first.

May 31: WCSO deputies received a report of a suspicious male in his 30s, thin build and dark short hair in the 400 block of Georgia Way. The reporting party stated the white male was illegal and was in non-compliance with the county. Reporting party said the male said if people continued to use the storage facility, they would be sorry. Reporting party stated he been a victim of vandalism at the storage unit and had reported it to the police. Reporting party wanted the incident documented and advised he would tell the property owner of the report.

May 25: WCSO deputies took a report of internet fraud in the amount of $118.98. The report party stated his business was out of state and the suspect used a stolen credit card to purchase an item that was shipped to a Point Roberts address. WCSO deputies have a suspect and are investigating. Deputies told the reporting party to contact the internet fraud complain center with the FBI to report the incident.

May 21: WCSO deputies investigated a medical aid call in the 300 block of Mill Road. A juvenile male crashed his bicycle for an unknown reason and received injuries to his jaw and teeth. The juvenile was later transported to the hospital.
