SHERIFF'S REPORT

April 23: A WCSO deputy contacted a property owner in the 400 block of Georgia Way in reference to a solar panel that had been shot with a BB gun, causing $1,000 in damage. There are no suspects at this time and the reporting party wanted a report for insurance purposes.

April 23: WCSO deputies responded to the 400 block of Moose Trail for a reported domestic assault. An adult male was arrested for assaulting his adult female girlfriend. He was transported and booked into the Whatcom County Jail. The female victim was uninjured from the assault.

April 23: WCSO deputies took a report of a burglary to Nielson’s Building Center. The reporting party advised an ATV valued at $1,357 had been stolen from the lumberyard. Deputies located evidence at the scene and are currently conducting an investigation.

April 23: Numerous mailboxes and posts were removed from their holes and thrown in the woods on Boundary Bay Road. There are no suspects and minimal damage was done.

April 2: An adult male and female were contacted by a WCSO deputy in the 100 block of Tyee Drive. A valid no-contact order prohibited the male from contacting the female. The male was arrested and booked into the Whatcom County Jail for violation of the order.

March 19: An abandoned 25-foot gray dilapidated travel trailer was reported parked on the shoulder in front of 335 Mark Drive. Deputies checked the trailer and verified it was a hulk vehicle and tagged it. No VIN or plates were located on the trailer. Deputies checked with the county and verified it was on the county right-of-way. Deputies could not locate the owners.
