SHERIFF'S REPORT
October 21: A female in the 1400 block of Gulf Road called
WCSO to advise them that her boyfriend had assaulted her during
an argument. Deputies contacted the male and arrested him for
assault 4th DVPA. The subject was transported and booked into
Whatcom County Jail.
October 21: An adult male in the 1400 block
of Gulf Road was contacted by deputies for an unrelated incident.
Deputies discovered the subject had a warrant out of Whatcom
County District court for FTA criminal trespass 1st with bail.
The subject was arrested and booked into the Whatcom County Jail.
October 20: WCSO deputies assisted an adult male in the 200
block of Elizabeth Drive with a civil standby. Deputies confirmed
with the Whatcom County prosecutors office that the adult male’s
paperwork was valid and contacted an adult female at the residence
and informed her of the standby. The adult male was able to remove
his personal effects, clothing and tools of the trade from the
residence without incident.
October 14: Deputies contacted an
adult female victim of a no-contact order violation in the 200
block of Elizabeth Drive. The husband committed a violation of
the order by third party contact. The adult male suspect was
arrested and transported to the Whatcom County Jail via the U.S.
Coast Guard.
October 10: A WCSO deputy investigated a reported
sex offense with a 15-year-old female victim that occurred in
the 200 block of Elizabeth Drive. A 40-year-old adult male was
later arrested for engaging in sexual intercourse with the 15-year-old
victim. He was transported and booked into the Whatcom County
Jail via U.S. Coast Guard boat for rape of a child 3rd degree.
October
9: An adult female in the 200 block of Elizabeth Drive reported
she had been assaulted by her husband. The victim was physically
assaulted and sustained visible injuries from the assault. The
adult male suspect was arrested and transported to the Whatcom
County Jail via the U.S. Coast Guard.
October 6: Deputies took
a report of a missing person from the 1300 block of Rex Street.
The reporting party stated her brother is suicidal and was last
seen at St. Joseph Hospital. The reporting party advised she
has checked with all his friends and family and could not locate
the adult male.
October 4: U.S. Customs was assisted by WCSO deputies
in the arrest of two adult females with two pounds of marijuana
in the 50 block of Tyee Drive. Both subjects were attempting
to gain entry into the U.S. from Canada. Both subjects were arrested
and booked into Whatcom County jail via U.S. Coast Guard.

4: WCSO deputies responded to the 1300 block of Rex Street for
a suicidal subject. Deputies contacted the subject whom voluntarily
went to St. Joseph’s
Hospital.
