September 18: A WCSO deputy contacted an adult female victim of a malicious mischief in the 100 block of Monte Drive. An unknown subject turned the garden hose on at the victim’s vacation home and left it running. This caused about 3,100 gallons of water to be used, costing the victim $90.

September 16: WCSO deputies assisted U.S. CBP officers at the Point Roberts point of entry with a felony warrant. Deputies confirmed that the suspect had made entry into the U.S. via the port and had a felony warrant out of Kitsap County superior court for malicious mischief second, with $5,000 bail. The subject’s identity and warrant were confirmed. He was arrested, transported and booked into Whatcom County jail via U.S. coast guard.

September 11: A WCSO deputy responded to the 200 block of Bayview Lane for a reported illegal border crossing into the U.S. by an adult male. He was located, detained, and transported to the Point Roberts port of entry at the request of U.S. border patrol. He was turned over to U.S. Customs officers to be held for Border Patrol Agents at the port of entry.

September 3: WCSO deputy contacted an adult female victim of a hit and run accident. The vehicle was parked off the roadway on Meadow Lane and unoccupied. An unidentified vehicle struck the victim’s car and then fled the scene without contacting the victim, causing about $450 in damage.
