Here’s the scoop on Shell’s gas giveaway. It will augment the usual giveaway wherein anyone purchasing eight gallons or more gasoline at the station can enter their name in a drawing. Gas cards worth $50 are awarded to a Point Roberts resident and a non-resident every month.

The national Shell campaign that Point Roberts Shell will be participating in gives customers a chance to win more than 200,000 prizes through a scratch and win sweepstakes. Six grand prize winners will receive Shell gasoline for life and more than 200,000 consumers will receive a $10 Shell gift card. For those who don’t win a prize, every game card features a money saving fuel tip. The sweepstakes runs now through October 1.
