12:19
p.m., Saturday, June 23, 2007:
Traffic backs down 56th Street hill as visitors and residents
wait to enter Point Roberts. Just one regular lane is open while
three officers sit down inside. Despite years of promises from
politicians and bureaucrats, border backups continue to bedevil
residents, visitors and business owners.
Officer tells concerned resident to move if he doesn’t
like border lineups. Welcome to America.
