Garden club holding bulb sale

The Point Roberts Garden Club is selling bulbs and perennials to support club activities, like the 2008 garden tour, and beautification projects in Point Roberts.

Garden club members will be at the International Marketplace on March 29 and March 30 with brochures and order forms. This year’s supplier for the program is Van Bourgondien Dutch Bulbs and Perennials. Plant selections are priced at $10, $20, and $40 for bundles of top-quality summer flowering bulbs and roots, from 4 to 40 individuals depending on the species chosen.

For local gardeners who can’t place their orders at the Marketplace, orders can be placed with Jessica McVey until April 10 at 945-0409 or jamcvey@dcc.net. Half of the proceeds of the plant sale will go into garden club coffers.
