Time to get out those dancing shoes!

You know it’s spring in Point Roberts when the cabins get aired out, the birds start singing and we start selling tickets to the Point Roberts Chamber of Commerce Social! This year the chamber of commerce is celebrating multiculturalism with its theme “It’s a small world after all.” And indeed it is a small but diverse world here in Point Roberts! The theme for the July Fourth celebration will be the same as the social.

The Spring Social is a true bonding experience for Point Roberts citizens and friends. It is one of the few events that bring everyone together for a night of just socializing after a long winter hibernation.

This year’s social will be on April 26 at 7 p.m. at the Dockside Café. We will have a multicultural buffet and entertainment from around the world. Put on your dancing shoes and dress up in a costume from your favorite country and join us. The tickets are only $25 (so inexpensive, the price of dinner alone anywhere!) and are available at Dylan’s, Triple M Realty, Dockside, and the new McFrugal’s store.

We will also have an incredibly fun silent auction so bring your checkbooks and go home with a super great prize!
