Have a great meal and still support Dollars For Scholars!

Each spring Dollars for Scholars is busy raising money for the scholarships that will be awarded in June. This year there is a bumper crop of students who will need funds. Ten graduating high school seniors and six on-going college students are expected to apply for scholarships.

Max Briand and Diana Campbell, the owners of South Beach House restaurant, have offered to host a fundraising dinner for Dollars for Scholars, with 40 percent of the proceeds to go toward scholarships.

The dinner will be held on Saturday, April 19 starting at 6:30 p.m. Menu items will be spinach salad with smoked duck, walnuts and apples, a choice of halibut or ribs for the main course and chocolate mousse for dessert.
