SHERIFF'S REPORT

January 20: A WCSO deputy responded to the 300 block of Windsor Drive for a juvenile male who was reported to be intoxicated and had assaulted his father and broken several items in the residence. The juvenile was arrested for assault 4th DV, malicious mischief 3rd DV, MIP, and resisting arrest. Later the juvenile kicked out a window in the patrol car causing $375 in damage and fled on foot while still handcuffed. After a short foot chase the subject was taken back into custody and was charged with the additional crimes of malicious mischief 1st degree and escape 3rd degree. He was transported to the Whatcom County juvenile detention facility via the U.S. Coast Guard and booked in on all charges.

January 19: A female in the 1700 block of Province Road reported that her vehicle was taken by an unknown subject, but was later returned. There was $2,450 reported damage to the vehicle. The case is being investigated.

January 7: A WCSO deputy responded to Tyee Drive for a subject detained by US CBP officers for an arrest warrant. The warrant was for FTA for DWLS/R 2nd degree issued out of Snohomish County District Court with a $1,050 bail. The subject was arrested and transported to Whatcom County Jail via U.S. Coast Guard boat.

January 6: An unknown subject(s) had entered the school bus parked in the 2000 block of Benson Road and let off the fire extinguisher causing about $50 in damage. There are no suspects at this time.

December 16: A WCSO deputy responded to the 300 block of Evergreen Way for a reported suspicious circumstance. The rear door to the residence was open and blowing in the wind and a bedroom light was on. The reporting party stated that the residence was not left that way. A check of the residence showed no evidence of forced entry and nothing inside the residence had been moved or gone through.

November 25: An unknown subject(s) in an unidentified vehicle drove through several lawns in a three block area leaving ruts and turned up dirt. The vehicle also struck part of a fence. The total damage from the incident is estimated at $500.

November 9: A WCSO deputy took a report of a stolen package that had been delivered on Limerick Avenue. The package was left on the back porch of the residence as the owner was not home. The package was opened and the contents valued at $162 was stolen prior to the victim arriving at the location to claim it. There are no suspects at this time.
