So long, farewell, auf wiedersehn, good night

The Prescott family are leaving Point Roberts for Riverside, California, where Point Roberts water commissioner and attorney Tom Prescott will take up a job with the municipal government. Prescott has served as a water commissioner for some years, with one as commission president. He has also run a cross-border law practice with offices in Point Roberts and Blaine. His wife Suzanne has been the secretary for Point Roberts primary school for several years.

A tea to celebrate Tom, Suzanne and their two sons’ time in Point Roberts will be held at the primary school October 30 from 3 to 4 p.m..
