For years, drivers from every U.S. state and Canadian province have reported speed trap locations to the National Motorists Association's National Speed Trap Exchange. Somehow, they've missed the Point despite the frequency of traffic stops seen in our small community. However, one Whatcom County city wasn't so lucky.

Bellingham was listed as one of two cities in the state notorious for its speed traps. The organization has compiled a list of speed trap locations from across the continent.
