Have a bumper crop of plums? Has your kale gone crazy? Consider donating your bounty towards building a new library for Point Roberts.
Starting with her own donation of plums and apples, Therese Bagshaw will be at the Saturday Morning Market this weekend selling donated fruits and veggies from local gardens to raise funds for the library building fund.
Bagshaw hopes other local gardeners will chip in and donate their surplus produce to boost her offerings. Donated fruits and vegetables can be dropped off at her table at the market August 11 starting at 10 a.m at the Gulf Road community center.
