SHERIFF'S REPORT
June 4: A WCSO deputy took a report of a suspected malicious mischief and theft in the 1600 block of Edwards Drive. The reporting party claimed that an installer had maliciously cut his TV cables and stolen his cell phone valued at $210.. The TV cable had been cut by the installer in order to re-route the cables but the reporting party became angry about the installation and told the installer to leave. No crime occurred in cutting the cables. As for the theft of the cell phone, no evidence exists to implicate the installer in the theft.
June 3: A WCSO deputy took a report of a burglary in the 1700 block of Benson Road. An unknown subject(s) entered a building on the property and stole a 100-year-old stove valued at $3,000. The building was unlocked and has always been left unlocked. There are no suspects at this time.
June 1: A deputy responded to a burglary in the 400 block of Tyee Drive. An unknown subject broke a window to the business with a rock causing $350 in damage. The suspect then reached inside the broken window and stole about $100 worth of tobacco products. The security video from the business failed to capture any video of the suspect(s). No suspects have been identified at this time.
May 31: A deputy responded to a report of malicious mischief to a school bus in the 2000 block of Benson Road. Unknown subject(s) broke two windows on the bus with rocks and scattered trash and bus supplies around inside. Damaged valued at $300.
May 25: An individual in the 1400 block of Peltier Drive reported that an unknown subject removed a window screen from a window. It does not appear that the subject attempted to gain entry into the residence. Nothing was damaged or taken.
May 19: Two teenaged male suspects attempted to break into a business in the 300 block of Tyee Drive by breaking a window but were not able to gain entry. The suspects were caught on video at the business. However, both suspects had their faces and heads covered and could not be identified. Nothing was stolen from the business and $80 in damage was done to a window.
