If the latest heat wave proves too hot for you, there is a solution close to hand. Fire chief Christopher Carleton has opened up the airconditioned training room at the Benson Road fire hall for those who find the heat unbearable. It opened today at 10 a.m. and will be open on Friday and Saturday, August 13 and 14 as well.
There are washrooms and a kitchen if needed.
