Lillian Virginia Fiore

March 19,1935 – November 24, 2014

Lillian passed away peacefully in her sleep from a heart attack on November 24. Born in Chicago, IL to Anthony and Lillian Clemente, she married Joseph J. Fiore (deceased) on September 10, 1955. They were proud parents of four children: Marie Fiore-Hedeman, Joseph J. Fiore Jr., Mark A. Fiore and Anthony (Tony) J. Fiore.

They moved to Point Roberts, WA in 1970 where they were active residents and business owners of Ben’s Department Store, The Reef Tavern, and T.J. Restaurant. In later years, Lillian was the manager of the Point Roberts Fire Department bingo. She moved to Blaine, WA in 2008, and later to Pahrump, NV to live with her daughter.

Lillian loved cooking, baking, accounting, spending time with her children and grandchildren and playing bingo. She was an active member of the Catholic church: Sacred Heart in Ladner, B.C., St. Anne’s in Blaine, WA, and Our Lady of the Valley in Pahrump, NV.

She is survived by her children, Marie Hedeman of Pahrump, NV, Joe Fiore of Bothell, WA, Mark Fiore of Point Roberts, WA, Tony Fiore of Blaine, WA, daughter-in-laws Joyce Pelton, Vicki Fiore, Cheryl Fiore and Debbie Coleman, grandchildren Nicholas Fiore, Michael and wife Megan Fiore, and Amber Fiore, and great grandchildren Ava Fiore, Aubree Fiore and Olivia Antczuk.

A celebration of life for Lillian is scheduled for January 10, 2015 at St. Anne’s, 604 H Street, at H Street and 6th Street in Blaine. Pastor F.R. Khanh D Nguyen will perform the service at 11 a.m., and it is open to the public.
