Posted

A memorial service for Sam Morson will be held Friday, June 11 at 11 a.m. in Shelton, Washington. Sam died after the car he was driving crashed at high speed into the sea wall at Roosevelt Way and Bay View Drive the evening of June 1. Despite the efforts of paramedics who responded within minutes, the 18-year-old passed away early the next morning after being helicoptered to PeaceHealth St. Joseph’s Hospital in Bellingham.

The service will be livestreamed on YouTube at bit.ly/3gaubTm (Our Lady Star of the Sea). In Point Roberts, people wishing to pay respects to Sam have been asked to place an agate, or plain white stone, at the memorial at the crash site. As well, a GoFundMe page has been set up should anyone wish to contribute to the funeral and other expenses (bit.ly/3gtENMf).
