Longtime Point Roberts resident Paul Doyle died suddenly while on vacation in Florida.
Born in Newburyport, Mass. Paul joined the U.S. Navy right after graduation. He retired in 1975 and worked for the department of defense in safety and security. He retired in 1990, moved to the Point and worked at the marina for the next 16 years.
Paul is survived by his wife Kitty from Point Roberts, his sons Paul Jr. and Jim and his daughter Almarie, who reside in Florida. In accordance with his wishes there will be no memorial.
