Congratulations to the Mount Baker Experience Ski to Sea team

Congratulations to Point Roberts residents and neighbors Elliott Smith and Linda Finch who raced in the canoe leg of the Ski to Sea multi-sport team relay, on May 29. They competed on the Mount Baker Experience magazine team (local publishers Louise Mugar and Pat Grubb) which placed an impressive 93rd overall out of 292 teams, and 7th in their division, in a 7-leg, 93-mile race that started at Mt. Baker Ski Area and ended in Bellingham Bay, eight hours and 38 minutes later.
