Covid-19 testing May 9, new less intrusive swabs

The Point Roberts fire department in cooperation with the Point Roberts Clinic will be conducting another round of Covid-19 testing this Saturday, May 9 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. 

To get tested for Covid-19, please register by sending an email to Chief Carleton at chief@wcfd5.com. Please include your legal name, address, phone number and date of birth in your email. All information is confidencial. Once registered, you will be contacted on Friday and provided a scheduled time to be tested. 

The district will be testing with new and shorter swabs. The swabs are inserted a short distance into both nostrils; the method is as accurate as the previous, more intrusive method but is not in the slightest way painful or uncomfortable.
