While the parks district isn’t offering the kids camp this year due to Covid-19, they’re still not sitting on the swings doing nothing.
Whatcom County Council will vote on an inter-agency agreement on August 5 that will allow the parks district to locate kayaks at Lighthouse Marine Park for the use of the public.
As well, the district will be creating a Pickleball court on the parking lot at the Gulf Road community center. Equipment will be stored in a secured locker – to gain access, email the park district at PRparkdistrict@gmail.com for more information .
