Posted

The Point Roberts Library building is open again to the public closing again January 23 in accordance with governor Jay Inslee’s new re-opening plan. The governor modified his “Healthy Washington – Roadmap to Recovery” plan January 29 to allow for 25 percent occupancy in libraries.

Branch manager Kris Lomedico said in an email to the All Point Bulletin that the Point Roberts Library can welcome five people at a time to in-person services on Tuesdays 1-7 p.m. and Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Face masks are required. The library asks the public to maintain social distancing while in the store and keep visits short.

Movies and books are also available at the self-checkout station in the express lobby from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
