Registered voters association holds candidates night

Point Roberts Registered Voters Association’s board member Allison Calder pulled random speaking slots for candidates for Whatcom County Executive at the association’s candidates night held July 18 at the Gulf Road community center. From l., Allison Calder, Dan Purdy, incumbent Satpal Sidhu, Misty Flowers, current state representative Alicia Rule and current county council chair Barry Buchanan. Another candidate, Sukhwant Gill, was unable to attend. Earlier in the program, the audience heard from Whatcom County Council At-Large Position B candidates Atul Deshmane, Hannah Ordos and Jon Scanlon.
