Millions of people were estimated to have traveled to see the 2024 solar eclipse in its path of totality on April 8. Among those travelers was The All Point Bulletin’s Molly Ernst and her family who watched the eclipse from a park in Shelbyville, Indiana. According to NASA, the next solar eclipse won’t occur in the U.S. until August 23, 2044.
