Local volunteers helped rescue an injured seal pup after a man walking his leashed dogs near Lighthouse Park found it injured and stranded. Seal Watch volunteers monitored the pup until help arrived, and the same resident who found it later flew it to the Marine Mammal Rescue Center in Bellingham. Remember to keep dogs on leash to help protect local wildlife.
