The PR Registered Voters Association’s Charity Golf Tournament was a successful, though soggy, event, with 62 golfers hitting the links at the Point Roberts Golf and Country Club on September 19. Over $17,000 was raised for the Cross Border Coalition to Stop the Towers’ legal fund. Seen here is a coed team, with Jared and Rachel Hanson and Wayne and Linda Knowles representing the Cottages at Seabright Farms, a primary sponsor of the event.
Taking first place in the men’s division were Gregg Thompson, Greg Wallace, Eric Johnson and Marv Durflinger. For info, go to prrva.org.
