Rhys-Thorvald Hansen works on fiber art in their studio at 1389 Gulf Road, where they host open houses every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., or by appointment.
Visitors can watch napkins and tea towels being hand-printed using the 4,000-year-old technique of block printing or see a skinnfeller in action – an ancient Nordic art form using sheepskin.
