Art that leaves a significant impact despite being small in size will take center stage at Blaine Art Gallery’s October juried show: Small Art, Big Impact.
Eighty-nine pieces of art from 56 artists will be on display from Oct. 10 through Nov. 8, in a variety of mediums, including watercolor paintings, photographs and sculptures. Works range in size from 2 inches by 2 inches to 14 inches by 16 inches.
There will be an opening ceremony at the gallery, 922 Peace Portal Drive, on Oct. 10 from 4 to 6:30 p.m., aligning with the Second Saturday Downtown Art Walk.
Participants can meet some of the artists and explore the exhibition at the gallery, which is the starting point of the walk, before strolling through downtown Blaine to observe the other art on display.
