Graduates of 2016

The last issue of the All Point Bulletin celebrated the class of 2016, the latest crop of high school graduates from the Point.

Unfortunately, Katherine Letherby completed high school from home and wasn’t on the list provided by Blaine schools.

If you know of a student who is graduating this year, whether from high school, college or continuing education, please send it to editor@allpointbulletin.com so the entire community can celebrate their accomplishments.

Grad---Hannah-Shucard

Hannah Shucard

Hannah Shucard graduated with her Masters in Experimental Psychology from Western Washington University.

She is currently working as a research consultant in Bellingham.

Grad---Jesse-Damewood

Jesse Damewood

Jesse  Damewood was awarded a Master of Arts –Diplomacy and Conflict Resolution from Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont on June 24. Jess is an almost life-long resident of Point Roberts (1976) and a 1991  graduate of Blaine High School. He  earned his BA degree (honors)in International Relations from American Public University System and is currently working overseas.

Grad---Katie-Lazenby

Katherine Letherby

Katherine Letherby has lived in Point Roberts her whole life and started school at the local primary school. She continued her education through the Blaine school district until ninth grade when she left so she could have a more personalized learning experience from home. She now lives in Bellingham and plans to attend Bellingham Technical School in the fall for dental assisting and go back later for dental hygiene.

Grad---Zack-Fijal

Zack Fijal

Zack Fijal is graduating from Western Washington University in the summer quarter in August with a B.A in Business Management, B.A Sociology, and a minor in International Business. He has been interning with the Wild Buffalo House of Music, a music venue in Bellingham.

The Wild Buffalo has offered him a position starting fall 2016 doing  production and promotional management for events and shows.
