The Point Roberts Community Advisory Committee has released a survey to collect information on how the community would like to use the Transportation District Benefit funds over the next five years.
PRCAC described the funds as “a dedicated local funding pool (sourced from the fuel tax) for transportation infrastructure in Point Roberts, which can be used for road maintenance, sidewalks, walking & biking paths, drainage improvements, safety upgrades, and more.”
PRCAC is hoping to use public input to create a “community-backed strategic plan to unlock state and federal matching dollars for larger projects.”
The survey will be open until Aug. 15 and is online at forms.gle/f8r59vKp1pQWUdNDA. Residents can also print out a paper copy of the survey at bit.ly/3T6eVwZ.
