Longtime summer resident Sebastian Munro placed first in his age division (18-24) at the Whistler Ironman competition on July 24, thereby qualifying for the 2016 world Ironman competition in Kona, Hawaii in October. Munro finished 60th overall with a time of 10:24:41.
