Quilt up for raffle to benefit Point Roberts Food Bank 

A quilt, donated by Point Roberts Quilters, is up for raffle to raise money for the Point Roberts Food Bank. 

Tickets will be on sale at various events around the Point this summer, including after the Fourth of July parade, at the Friday Market & Flea, which takes place 4 to 7 p.m. on July 3 and July 31, as well as from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Aug. 1 on the west side of the marina. 

Tickets will be available at other Point Roberts summer events as well, including the Chili Cookoff, where the winner will be selected. 

The Chili Cookoff will be on Aug. 22 and also will benefit the Point Roberts Food Bank. The food bank’s biggest expenditure this year will be a new storage facility.
