The recreational burn ban that was lifted on Friday, September 9 was reinstated today at 4:45 p.m. by the Whatcom County fire marshal after a number of brush fires were reported throughout the county in recent days. The ban will be in effect until further notice and includes all outside fires including recreational fires.
